Christian Blauch I

Christian Blauch, I, today the common family spelling is Blough. He was born in Switzerland in 1715 and died in 1786 in Lancaster County, PA.  During the Revolutionary War he resided in Lebanon, now Lancaster, County, PA. He served as a Private in Capt. David McQueen’s Company, 3rd Battalion, Lancaster County, PA militia under Colonel Alexander Lowery for the year 1779. He also paid the Supply Tax in Lebanon, Lancaster County, PA in 1779.

Little is known about his wives. His first marriage was before 1736 to Elizabeth Gastelli. After 1750 he married his second wife, Rosina (?) Steck.
